The official unveil event is July 22, 2020 and we expect pre orders to begin in the days following. Typically, ASUS follows a strict release date structure. Europe most likely will be first up, with North America, Asia and other countries following that. Pre order phases are usually staged over a number of weeks to ensure inventory levels. The US and Canada may seen pre orders faster than years previously as ASUS is aware of their prime gaming markets and North America is definitely a strong ROG brand market for the company.
Price wise? Expect a slightly more expensive price this year than last year. If the ROG Phone 3 is 5G then assume it will come at additional cost. No word yet on a more affordable version that might be without 5G but it’s still possible. Not everyone feels the need to splurge right now for 5G but would love to buy the ROG Phone 3.
